Beats and Friends (also abbreviated as ‘bnf.’) is an organization and music label based in Taipei, Taiwan, that focuses on promoting the local beats scene and beats culture. It is one of the pioneers in the beatmaking scene in Taiwan, operating Roland’s SP 404 sampling machine and bringing it to the public eye as one of the most used live instruments in the beatmaking scene. This has inspired many mainstream artists to use it in their live performances, regardless of their size.
